Deda Alanera Titanium Computer Mount 12.6g 0.1g Club Weight Convergence

Three integrated handlebars — the Deda Alanera, the Pinarello MOST Talon Ultra My25, and the BMC Slr01 — share something unusual: their TiNE titanium computer mounts all weigh within 0.1g of each other. The Deda Alanera mount comes in at 12.6g for the standard version and 19.8g for the 1050 Edition. That 0.1g spread across three bars from three different manufacturers tells you something about aero bar design: when the center-section width converges, the mount weight converges too.

The Deda Alanera is a wide-profile aero bar with a substantial center section for stiffness and cable routing. That width is what pushes the mount into the 12.6g band — slightly above the compact round-section bars (Enve SES Aero Pro at 9.7g) but well below the largest aero bars (Colnago Y1RS at 19.3g). The 1050 Edition at 19.8g follows the same pattern, using a reinforced panel for head units over 89mm.

The 0.1g Club

Four bars clustered at 12.6–12.7g, all with aero profiles of similar width. The Darimo Nexum adds another 12.6g entry, though its 1050 Edition at 20.1g is slightly heavier due to a different reinforcement approach. The 1050 Edition weights diverge more than the standard weights because the reinforcement panel shape varies by bar — but the core clamp section, which determines the standard weight, converges when the bar profiles converge.

GoPro, Light, and Large Head Units

The Deda Alanera mount includes the same detachable under-mount as every TiNE computer mount: 3.8g, supporting a GoPro action camera or a front light. The mount is specific to the Alanera bar profile — it will not fit the Deda New Alanera RS, which has a different center-section shape. For head units, the standard version handles anything up to 89mm in length; the 1050 Edition takes over for larger units like the Garmin Edge 1050.

Topology and Color

CNC machined from Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V using topology optimization — the same computational design method applied across all 48 TiNE computer mount models. Eight anodized colors available. The Alanera mount is one of the models where the topology-optimized shape is especially visible, because the wide aero bar allows a broader, more organic arm structure than compact round-section bars.
