Refund policy

This policy explains how returns and refunds work at TiNE. It applies alongside your statutory rights — it never replaces them.

1. 30-day return window

You may return any item within 30 days of delivery, for any reason. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.

2. Who pays return shipping

• Quality issue, or we shipped the wrong item: we pay. We cover return shipping in full — or we may simply replace the item and ask you to keep the original. 
• Change of mind: you pay return shipping. We never charge a restocking fee. 

3. Items we cannot take back

Components that have been installed, torqued, or treated with thread locker or anti-seize compound cannot be returned unless they are defective. Please test-fit before installation.

4. Custom and made-to-order items

Customized or made-to-order items are excluded from the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for EU consumers and cannot be returned unless defective.

5. How to start a return

Email service@tinetech.com with your order number (and a photo, if the item is defective). We reply within 1 business day with the correct return address and instructions. Please do not send anything back without contacting us first.

6. Return addresses

Depending on where you are, we will direct your return to the nearest of our overseas return warehouses:

European Union / UK returns TiNE Returns (c/o 4PX) Albert-Schweitzer-Str. 1, 55459 Grolsheim, Germany 

7. Refunds

Once your return arrives, we inspect it and issue your refund within 1 business day of completing the inspection. Refunds go back to your original payment method; your bank or card provider may take a few extra days to post the money.

8. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights, including the EU 14-day right of withdrawal where it applies.
