Colnago's seatpost uses a large, integrated alloy yoke that combines the saddle rail cradle, the base plate, and the clamping hardware into a single cast piece. The design prioritizes structural simplicity over weight — the 83.1 g figure includes the entire clamp mechanism from the base plate up through the yoke arms. Compared to Pinarello's stock yoke at 54.4~60 g or the Roval version at 49.7 g, the Colnago is the heaviest in the industry at this component position.

The TiNE Colnago yoke set replaces the entire stock clamp assembly under the seatpost head. Three components:

1 carbon fiber base plate — replaces the heavy alloy casting, lighter and structurally stiff.

The titanium screws resist corrosion better than the stock steel bolts in the saddle zone — a high-splash area exposed to sweat and road spray on every ride. The carbon base and 7075 aluminum arms are specific to Colnago's seatpost head profile, not shared with other TiNE yoke versions.

This yoke set is designed for Colnago models using the heavier 83.1 g stock yoke. The Y1RS and V5RS use a different (lighter) stock yoke at 66 g, with their own TiNE version. Confirm your Colnago model and stock yoke weight before ordering — the two TiNE Colnago yoke versions are not interchangeable.
Remove the stock yoke by loosening the two clamp screws from below the saddle. Install the TiNE carbon base plate first, seat the 7075 yoke arms into the seatpost head, and secure with the TiNE titanium screws. Torque to Colnago's recommended saddle clamping spec. The clamping force distribution matches stock — no saddle slip risk when properly torqued.
One practical note: the TiNE yoke arms are CNC-machined with tighter tolerances than the stock cast alloy piece. This means the saddle rail fit is more precise — rails seat with less play, reducing the chance of micro-adjustment drift during long rides.
