What is the difference between the inner and outer center lock caps?

TiNE makes two center lock cap versions for different use cases:

Outer cap (5.5 g) — dual-function. Converts six-bolt hubs to accept center lock rotors AND serves as a direct replacement on native center lock hubs. One piece does both jobs.

Inner cap (4.6 g) — single-function. Designed exclusively for center lock hubs. It fits the inner rotor interface profile, which is narrower than the outer profile. The 0.9 g weight difference comes from the smaller profile — less material, less threading surface, one use case.

If you ride a six-bolt hub, choose the outer cap. If you ride a center lock hub that uses the inner rotor interface spec, the inner cap is the lighter, more precise option.
