The Specialized Roval Rapide one-piece handlebar is the factory cockpit on the Tarmac SL8 and SL9 — and its integrated computer mount position is one of the most popular TiNE configurations. The TiNE titanium computer mount for the Roval Rapide bar comes in two versions: the ultralight at 10.5 g (for standard Garmin/Wahoo units up to 1030-size) and the 1050 reinforced at 16.5 g (for large-format head units like the Garmin Edge 1050). Both share the same 3.8 g detachable under-mount that clicks onto the underside — a single mount point for a GoPro action camera or a handlebar light (one at a time).

Two Versions: Which One Fits Your Head Unit?

The choice between the ultralight and the 1050 reinforced version comes down to one question: what computer are you running? The ultralight version is designed for standard-size head units (Garmin 540/840/1030, Wahoo ROAM/BOLT). The 1050 version adds structural reinforcement to support the larger faceplate and heavier body of the Garmin Edge 1050 and similar oversized units.

The 6.0 g difference between the two versions comes entirely from the reinforced faceplate structure — the mount arm, bar clamp interface, and GoPro mount attachment are identical. If you are running a Garmin 1050 now or plan to upgrade, the 1050 reinforced version is the safe choice. If your head unit is 1030-size or smaller, the ultralight saves 6.0 g at the front of the bike.

Detachable Under-Mount: 3.8 g for GoPro or Light

Both versions share the same 3.8 g detachable under-mount. It clicks onto the bottom of the computer mount with a quarter-turn lock and provides a single mounting point — for a GoPro action camera or a handlebar light, one at a time:

The under-mount is removable — take it off for race day and the ultralight mount drops to 10.5 g bare. Attach it for training rides when you want a camera or a light. The single mount point accepts either a GoPro or a light, but not both simultaneously — swap between them depending on the ride.
