The Trek Madone SLR has gone through three cockpit generations — Gen 6 curved bar, Gen 7 bar, and Gen 8 one-piece handlebar — and each needs its own computer mount. One size does not fit all. TiNE makes a dedicated titanium mount for every generation, with the lightest version starting at 11.1 g.

The Gen 6 mount is the lightest in the TiNE lineup at 11.1 g. The Gen 8 one-piece bar requires a wider platform, pushing the ultralight to 13.0 g. All three share the same under-mount (3.8 g) for GoPro or light.
FAQ
Can I use a Gen 6 mount on a Gen 8 frame?
No. Each generation has a different cockpit interface — the clamp shape, arm angle, and mounting points are specific to that bar design. Using the wrong mount will not fit securely.
Why does the Gen 8 weigh more than Gen 6?
The Gen 8 one-piece handlebar has a wider aero profile. The mount arms need to be longer and the platform wider to span the integrated cockpit, adding roughly 1.9 g in the ultralight version.
Does the under-mount fit a GoPro and a light at the same time?
The under-mount has a single attachment point. It supports either a GoPro or a riding light — one device at a time.
Which Garmin models does the ultralight version support?
The ultralight platform fits Garmin Edge 540, 840, 1030, Wahoo ROAM, Wahoo BOLT, and Karoo. The 1050 reinforced version is built specifically for the Garmin Edge 1050 and smaller units.
Is the Madone mount compatible with the Trek Emonda or Domane?
No. This mount is designed for the Madone SLR cockpit only. The Emonda and Domane use different bar and stem interfaces.
